Terms of Service

By accessing or using StartupDeckAI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use the Service.

• Service — the StartupDeckAI web application, APIs, models, reports, and documentation available at app.startupdeck.in.
• Workspace — an isolated tenant containing users, validations, memory, and settings.
• Validation — a single end-to-end pipeline run producing a report.
• Report — the output artefact of a Validation, including all sections, citations, and exports.
• Customer Content — inputs you or your users submit to the Service.
• Outputs — AI-generated text, scores, and artefacts returned by the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction. The Service is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, including any two-factor authentication factors and recovery codes. You must notify us at security@startupdeck.in immediately of any unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts showing signs of compromise until identity is re-verified.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to build a competing AI validation product or to train a competing model.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or model weights.
• Circumvent rate limits, quota enforcement, or authentication.
• Upload content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, contains malware, or violates the privacy or rights of others.
• Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive, defraud, defame, or harass.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without a written agreement.

The Service, including all software, brand marks, prompts, model orchestration, documentation, UI, and design, is owned by StartupDeckAI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.

You retain all rights in Customer Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process, store, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to operate the Service, including transmitting prompts to model providers strictly for the purpose of generating Outputs you have requested.

We do not use Customer Content to train models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Reports, validation scores, competitor maps, financial models, and other Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and large language models. Outputs are decision-support artefacts — not investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for verifying Outputs before relying on them for material decisions.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we assign to you all rights we hold in the Outputs of your Validations. You may use Outputs for any lawful purpose.

Paid plans are billed via our payment processor at the interval selected at checkout (monthly or annual). All fees are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for taxes applicable in your jurisdiction. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Free plan users receive a limited number of validations per month. Promotional credits, trials, or discounts are non-transferable and may be revoked for abuse (multiple accounts, disposable emails, or automated sign-ups).

The Service integrates with third parties (payment processors, email delivery, model providers). We are not responsible for third-party services and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Features marked "Beta", "Preview", or "Experimental" are provided as-is, may change or be discontinued at any time, and are excluded from any service level or availability commitments.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, or non-payment. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. On termination we will delete Customer Content within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing. We do not warrant that Outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StartupDeckAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of (a) fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, and (b) INR 10,000.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StartupDeckAI from claims arising out of your Customer Content, your use of Outputs, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delhi, India, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
